Right Beliefs, Wrong Reasons

Sometimes it is frustrating to introduce yourself to theological issues. Most people who get deeply involved in theology quickly realize how much they don't know. Confident seminary students enter their training thinking that they are going to breeze their way through as they have their prejudices confirmed by their soon to be impressed professors. After the first year, their countenance is soured as their confidence turns into an insecure angel (or devil) on their shoulder who says, "Who did yo… Continue

Michael, I have been listening to N.T. Wright's teachings on Romans called "Romans in a Week". Some of it is very interesting and sounds plausable but I am still trying to come to my own understanding of Romans. Therefore I am still some what skeptical of Mr. Wright's teaching. When I come back to class in Aug. at Crossing Comm. Church I can bring you a copy of his teachings in MP3 if you would like to listen to it to get your take on it.

Hey Michale,

ever visited California? Would you like too? I am thinking of doing a 3 day seminar titled "Going Deeper" at our church. I have a list of local speakers that I plan on using, but I was wondering if you would be at all interested in being a part?

I plan to do one seminar on Saturday morning titled "How to start a Bible Institute at your Church", and part of that will be introducing the Theology Program to our fellowship. I do think that we will get a lot of people and pastors to show up. If you are available and we can work something out. I would love for you to be a part of that presentation, and maybe even speak on one of the nights (Thursday or Friday).

You probably have a cost so email me and let me know what you think, and we can go from there.

Hey Michael,

I am very sorry but I will not be able to attend the Online Teacher Training starting next week. I just have why to much on my plate. I am enrolled in two college classes, I have my pastor responsibilities, I am in knee deep teaching at our bible school, working a full time job, and oh yeah my family. Plus I will be on vacation for two weeks in July.

My Pastor use to tell us that the "World is won by tired men" I know that we are both tired, but all to God's glory.

I am from Manila. I am about to start my own ministry here. A Bible study cell group with no affillation with a mother church. Kind a personal ministry, This is my commitment to our God.

That would be just fine. A lot of people do that.

Sorry for the delay. I was thinking about offering the course in the community and charging a fee which I could use to support my radio ministry.

Good idea?

Michael, fear not, SOKC LC is doing the TTP and some other acronyms as well. ;) We needed to avoid Sunday afternoons and Wednesday nights, right?

That is an impressive number of toys. As I only recently have had a little one to blame, I've stayed away from toys for the most part. However, my longboxes of comics and teetering shelf of graphic novels and trades are probably as impressive in their way.

I have suggested an amazing Superman book to Lindsey so check her comments if you want your own copy. Also, as you seem to like the Justice Lords from the JL cartoon, I'll suggest JLA: Earth 2 to you. The Justice Lords were a more nuanced version of the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, an evil JLA from a world where evil always wins.

I'm going to stop now. Between superheroes and TTP, I could geek out for HOURS.

I have a local bible study that I facilitate in my community and was wondering if I could implement TTP and use it as a means to support my radio ministry.
What do you think?

The program can be accessed on the web at www.familyvaluesradio.net. There will be a link in the upper left corner of the page which says "on air kxxt". Clicking on this link should open the media player and shortly thereafter you will hear the broadcast.
The program airs on sundays at 2pm AZ time.
